note: bulbs ship starting in october based on availability and your zone, unlike other products. plant around or after your first frost but before the ground freezes. etched salmon is a classic peony introduced in 1981, known for its full, double blooms in a warm salmon-pink shade. the flowers have a soft, rose-like shape and a light, sweet fragrance. blooms appear in late spring on sturdy 36″ stems. hardy in zones 3–8, etched salmon is a great pick for cut flowers and a favorite among gardeners for its unique color. this hard-to-find variety has limited quantities.
etched salmon is sold as one root with 3-5 eyes.
fall planting instructions:

choose an area with at least 6 hours of sunlight with soil that has good drainage.

dig a hole 12-18” deep. mix soil with an all-purpose fertilizer. add the amended and loosened soil back into the hole.

place peony roots 2-3” under the soil line with eyes facing upward, and then gently pack the soil over the roots.
